Billing and cancelling, in plain English
How VIP payments, renewals, cancelling and refunds work. This page summarises our Terms; if anything here differs, the Terms apply.
Paying for VIP
Joining StonerDatingApp is free. To message other members you need a paid VIP membership. You choose a plan on the payment page, which shows the exact price in your currency before you pay.
When you pay, your card is stored securely as a stored credential so that renewals can be charged to the same payment method.
Automatic renewal
Some plans renew automatically. A renewing plan continues until you cancel, and is charged at the same rate you signed up for, using the original payment method.
We only charge a renewal when your current period ends, never before. Plans bought as a discounted trial or offer renew at the standard rate shown when you bought them, unless you cancel before the first period ends.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time. Contact our Support team or ask the chat bot, and we will email you a link to the cancellation process.
After cancelling you keep your VIP benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling does not delete your profile: you stay a free member and your profile remains visible. To remove your profile and data, follow the instructions on your Membership page.
Refunds
Generally, all purchases are final and non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partly used periods, except where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund.
In Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, Wisconsin and Israel you may cancel without penalty before midnight of the third business day after you subscribed. Special terms also cover death or disability during a subscription. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, VIP is an instant-access digital product, so the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply.Super Match and Boost purchases cannot be partly refunded. All refunds are subject to an administration charge. If you paid through a third-party payment provider, their terms apply and billing questions go to them.
